I was going to post a comment to your article on ARTnews, but I changed my mind because I think you deserve one here too. There will be others who will comment on ARTnews’ site anyway.
I just wanted to say that it’s interesting to know that this is a real issue for art museum directors. I personally don’t take photos in museums because I can look again with what I see there with less trouble (online or in albums), but I’m all for allowing photography in museums, as long as they are taken without flash.
